My audition of the 2 channel OPERETTA amplifier began with
various models of Paradigm, James and Klipsch loudspeakers in our
showroom. This was followed by listening at my home with a pair of
Carver Ribbon speakers (Very difficult load, approx 2 ohms) and
found this amp to be very clear and musical.They exhibited no
negative characteristics with any of the different speakers and loads
and ran fairly cool at all times.
I also found they had an amazing amount of headroom, even with
my ribbon speakers and had no problem providing good volume
levels with any of the speakers we tried. This along with the modular
design make it a product I am very comfortable recommending to
our clients.
