This is the first external amp I have connected to the 777es. I have it
going from Pre-amp side of the receiver out the 5.1 outputs to the
Operetta. I have noticed a much greater bass response out of my
PSB speakers (6 ohms) the highs seem more crisp also. I plan on
doing some serious tests later this week and push the amp to see
what it can do with the depth charge scene in U-571. I all did some
tests with the Matrix, it did extremely well with the low freq sound
track that movie has.
So far I am very please with the amp. And the hologram
effect that the word "OPERETTA" has when light hits it is just plain
sweet! This is definitely an amp that needs to be seen and put in a
closet. It really is a beautiful piece of hardware.
