Have been enjoying this amp for the last few days and am beginning
to get a pretty good idea of what it is about.
I don't want to sound like a reviewer because I like music too much
for that, and the reviewers all start sounding the same, but what I do
think is that this amp will compete very well when up against good
tube amps because it doesn't seem to have digital etch or sharpness
to it.
It also seems to be very stable and hard to rattle when music gets
complex. For me it meant that accompanying voices which are
normally hard to follow became clear and easy to follow . This is
clearly a well designed amplifier and one that I would be interested
in sharing with my customers.
Congratulations on the Operetta and thank you for the opportunity
to offer this fine product to my customers.
My prediction is that the Operetta will turn the heads of many an
established tube amp owner, just as it has me ! There seems to be a
lack of digital etch and more of the organic quality I associate with
good tube amps, plus this amp has the power and control over
difficult speaker loads that solid state circuits can allow . It's
definitely fun to listen to!
